Mr. Gow's Bird Logos

In May 2022, the MCPE provided grant funding to purchase the GlowForge, laser cutter machine. Mr. Gow's 6th Grade Exploration Class were the very first to experiment with figuring out how to create designs by drawing on paper & scanning it into the GlowForge software or designing in BookCreator. The photo shows the results in clear Acrylic and Basswood.

Caprio/Heim's Arcade

Blakers were inspired by watching Caine's Arcade and given the challenge to design their own arcade game. Each team had access to all kinds of cardboard and other everyday materials like popsicle sticks, cups, etc. At the end of the project, it was game time to have fun in our own Blake Arcade.
