Inspiring Innovation in Education

I'm Diane Horvath, an educator passionate about igniting creativity and critical thinking in every student. I believe that learning should be accessible, engaging, and empowering, and I'm committed to bringing this vision to life through the integration of circuits, coding, and everyday materials.
 

As the Technology Integration/Makerspace Specialist at Blake Middle School in Medfield, Massachusetts, I support teachers and students in harnessing the power of technology. I design and facilitate innovative Maker Ed projects, teach computer science, and constantly explore new ways to transform our Makerspace into a dynamic learning environment. My current focus is on the transformative potential of physical computing and laser cutting, tools that empower students to turn their ideas into tangible realities.
 

I'm a lifelong learner dedicated to growing as an educator and leader. As the CSTA Greater Boston K-8 Representative, I collaborate with educators across the region to advance computer science education. I'm also a proud member of the global #MicrobitChampions community, sharing my passion for learning and teaching through conferences and social media.
