THE NSTAR ENERGY INVENTOR'S CONTEST Theme is 'CHANGE A LIGHT BULB. CHANGE THE WORLD' meaning that one simple idea could make a HUGE difference! So.. we are looking for creative, innovative inventions that offer a solution to an energy-wasting issue that is significantly impacting our planet and can be addressed by everyday people in their everyday lives. Think outside of the box as the solution maybe not be possible now, but could be in the near future!
Because it's all about the Rules. About the Rules! (No Treble)
Invididuals or teams can enter. You must create a video production that:
1. Clearly identifies the energy-wasting issue that your invention solves. It should be something that any person could use in their daily lives in someway or another.
2. Clearly names and demonstrates the features of how your invention IS the solution.
3. Gives a Pitch- or a good sell as to why people would want or need to use it!
4. Clearly is your own created ideas and work.
5. All entries must be no longer than 2 minutes and submitted by MARCH 23RD!

Submission Instructions:
Your video production must be uploaded to Google Drive. Set the permissions to public and copy the link.

JUDGING
Blake Teachers will be asked to view all entries and choose one as a winner! There will be a first and second place award. Winners will be announced on MARCH 25th at the NSTAR Assembly.
After the contest, we'll have a Student Choice Award! Voting will be opened up to all Blakers to select the winner of the "STUDENT CHOICE AWARD"!
The winners will receive a StarBucks Card and another prize TBD- check back to find out!
