Hi, My name is Diane Horvath, an educator working to bring accessible, creative, & inventive learning experiences to all students & teachers involving circuits, coding and everyday materials.

 

As the Technology Integration/Makerspace Specialist at Blake Middle School, Medfield Public Schools (MA), I work in a flexible capacity of providing 1:1 support for instructional technology and collaborative Maker Ed projects, and teaching computer science classes. However, I am always exploring ways to continually evolve the Makerspace to offer fresh & new learning opportunities.  My recent focus has been on integrating physical computing and laser cutting in any way possible as I considers them total game-changers that can easily level up a student's idea into a real solution or product. 

 

Learning in Beta!  I engage in developing my own learning and leadership by working as the CSTA Greater Boston k-8 Representative.  I am also apart of the globally-focused  #MicrobitChampions leaders and share at many conferences and on twitter!
